Festival 500 Small Vocal Ensemble Testimonial
Innismara member Dave Lave wrote a thoughtful testimonial for the Festival 500 website about his experience with the Small Vocal Ensemble Program.
In July of 2011, Innismara was pleased to be among the ensembles featured at the international choral event: Festival 500 Sharing the Voices where we took part in the first ever Professional Development Program for Small Vocal Ensembles. Here, we had the opportunity to workshop with Bob Chilcott (former member of the King’s Singers) and the world renowned Finnish vocal ensemble, Rajaton.

Innismara Completes First Professional Recording Project
We are pleased to announce that, in August 2012, Innismara completed its first professional recording project. Over two days, and with generous financial assistance from the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council, Innismara recorded a demo consisting of six tracks that will help us further promote ourselves both locally, nationally and internationally. While we all have experience being in the studio as part of numerous other choral groups, it was exciting to embark on this creative journey together! We had some real breakthroughs as an ensemble and had great fun too! Soon, we will begin the post-production process and we cannot wait to share the results with you!
Innismara would like to acknowledge the generous financial support of the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council.
